Custom kitchen remodeling project where we refaced the L portion of their kitchen. However because the peninsula was removed completely we added some additional cabinets to finish out the run. All new cabinets were built for the island, as well as two huge pantry cabinets with pullouts for easy access replaced the planning desk. The huge island became the focal point of the kitchen and provided tons of additional storage. It includes a double rollout trash/recycle bin, rollouts for pots and pans along with extra drawer space. The bar extension has plenty of room for six barstools. The cabinets were done in Bridgewood’s Tescott door in a knotty alder. The added glass doors gave them a place for some of their decorative pieces. We installed colonial gold granite countertops along with a travertine subway tile backsplash to add light back into the room.
